030 – Ebisu with a View

I love aerial views …

I found an amazing building today in Ebisu, just one train stop away from Shibuya, with restaurants and views from the 38th and 39th floor, called the Yebisu Garden.

“A city within a city”, they call it, “with something to do just about anytime of the day”. I have no idea what goes on inbetween the ground and top floors but there is a lot of space to fill with something. The outside area is no doubt home to some nice events in the warmer times of the year.

During my lunch break I ventured up to the top floors. Rising 39 floors up without stopping is quite thrilling and I could feel the change in air pressure as I ascended at what felt like a bit more speed than usual, if the butterflies in stomach were any indication.

Did I mention how much I love aerial views?

And the food is well worth the extra expense.

The building architecture is stunning.

And one more view shot … I love this place …
