039 – The Gifts of Imperfection

Most days I take a picture or two of something with the thought that if I run out of time, become uninspired, or worse, both things happen at the same time, then I’ll have something to post for the day.

Today is one of those days …

The habit of taking a picture and posting something everyday is more important to me than posting excellent content every day.   I still find resistance to it, though.

It reminds me of The Gifts of Imperfection, by Brene Brown

She has loads of great ideas about how to be true to yourself.   She says being yourself means being vulnerable and that takes courage.

“Courage is like—it’s a habitus, a habit, a virtue: You get it by courageous acts. It’s like you learn to swim by swimming. You learn courage by couraging.”

So today I give you photographing and blogging, by me …

Today, I give you a reflection in this drop of water.
