It feels funny to be home from a holiday where finding subjects to photograph and things to talk about was endless. In fact, my biggest problem was staying awake long enough to write something.
Today, back in my own hood, armed with a prompt about leading lines from my weekly photo challenge list, I set out for walk in the afternoon with my camera. I was a little worried about finding something even if it didn’t fit the prompt when I left.
Then I got to the river and the steel bridge. It was a seriously georgeous spring day here and the blossoms were still out in full force and the waterfront and cityscape provides some lines for me.
We have such a beautiful waterfront in Portland. It’s almost always worthy of a picture or three. Especially when the blossoms are out.
I kinda like the leading lines in all of these. They seem subtle and functional at the same time.
