289 – The Sound of D

This is what the sound of D looks like.

Specifically, the sound of the D string on an acoustic guitar.  It vibrates at a frequency of 146.83 Hz.

It’s also the key to Pachelbel’s Canon, one of my all-time favorites.

Of course, for key designations, the major is implied.   Therefore, the minor must be explicit when denoting the key of D minor …
